N. L . WEST-YBARRA
Nancy L. was born in Martinez, California, the third of five children. She and her husband, Rafael Francisco raised their three brilliant children in Riverside, California where Nancy and Paco currently reside. She developed her interest in writing as she pursued a Degree in Creative Writing at the University of California, Riverside. Her hobbies, aside from writing, include gardening, (very)amateur water color painting, traveling in nature, rock collecting and yoga. She practices a vegetarian life style and advocates for animals all over the planet.
Meet The Team

Hana West
Hana West, born in Martinez California discovered her love for all things water and subsequently obtained a Masters degree in hydrology/watershed management. An avid environmentalist and conservationist she worked for the U.S. Forest Service as a hydrologist where she designed and implement watershed and stream restoration projects. She also developed partnerships and Watershed groups in Arizona and Idaho. After retirement she has been able to enjoy her passion for travel and has extensively explored Latin America with hopes to tackle Europe. She enjoys research, nature, music, colonial architecture, and foreign cultures.

Lori Roemmich
Lori was born in Southern California and moved to Chico where she went to college and received her bachelor's degree in Physical Geography. Her love for the outdoors inspired her to become a white water raft guide. She also loves to take road trips and travel to exotic places with her husband and kids. She enjoys the finer things in life, like yoga and cooking, especially with fruit and vegetables she grows in her garden. In between working as a substitute teacher and dabbling in photography, her main passion is raising her two beautiful children.
