Nancy's Green Smoothie

Everybody has their own favorite green smoothie.  Here’s what Nancy adds to hers.

INGREDIENTS

Kale

Cucumber

Celery

Bok Choy or cabbage

 

These vegetables cover a nice range of vegetable families

 

1 tbls almond butter

1 date

2 or 3 prunes

1/2 c fruit, frozen or fresh

1/4 c blueberries

1/3 banana

 

I always add a tablespoon each of:

 

Hemp seeds

Chia seeds

Ground flaxseed

Pumpkin or sunflower seeds

 

3/4 to 1 cup of water
