Sourdough Bread

Siena is the best when it comes to vegetarian and vegan snacks and this bread is another one of her great recipes. She loves to make it into avocado toast and sandwiches during the week. You can find more of her wonderful recipes on instragram @Sienas_Snacks

Ingredients

Combine the following: 25g olive oil, 15 g sea salt, 150 g starter, 250 g room temp water

add 500g bread flour

mix and knead until elastic

form into a ball, cover with plastic and towel and let rise for 4-24 hours

preheat oven to 450
-
place loaf in proofing basket while oven heats
-
place in Dutch oven with bottom floured
-
slash line and turn down oven to 400
-
bake with lid on for 40 minutes
-
remove lid and cook 10-15 more minutes (or until internal temperature is 200)

cool 1 hour minimum
